Kruger National Park Depart for the Kruger National Park on our luxury coach. Be prepared for an early morning start. Arrival at Kruger will be in the early afternoon and after checking into our ‘‘rondawels’’, which is a modern version of the traditional native hut, we will partake in our first safari. The Kruger National Park boasts more animals than most of Africa's game parks and the variety of lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo and giraffe, zebra and buck will take your breath away. This section of the tour is tinged with a bit of regret because man is causing so much havoc with nature’s plans that it is sad but fearful truth that in the not too distant future these wonderful animals may well be extinct. A very sobering thought. Dinner this evening will be the traditional South African ''braaivleis'' washed down with some wonderful South African red wine or the local brew of ''Castle” beer.

The Adventure
Sun City A day trip to the famous Sun City gambling resort where for those who are so inclined we can play a round of golf on the famous million dollar prize course designed by Gary Player. For the less adventurous and more sedentary of our guests there is the casino and gaming room. For lunch we will eat at the Squires Loft – a steak house to remember. South Africa is well known for its restaurants and cuisine but once you have tasted a meal from Squires this will top your list of eating establishments. Of course at every meal the wonderful wines of the country, both red and white will be available and for those with a knowledgeable pallet the quality will impress. On the way home we will stop at the Hartebeesport African market where it will be very difficult for anyone to not not to purchase the wonderful souvenirs at a price that the exchange rate makes fantastic value.
Traveling by TrainGet ready to depart for the mother city of South Africa, Cape Town. We travel by train, no not the world famous Blue Train as that has become so outrageously overpriced that it is no longer a tourism icon. But Southern African Adventures has discovered another service, which is called the Premier Classe. This wonderful service follows the same route as its illustrious sister train and in affordable luxury which includes all meals and the wonderful South African scenery. The twin share compartments are comfortable and roomy and the lounge and dining cars are of five star standard. You will be spoilt and pampered with an array of African flavoured meals that will lead to some very serious bouts of dieting on your return home. As with all meals the wonderful wines are always available.
